About this scrapbook page: |
I was sitting out on the patio today, listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. I remembered reading somewhere that there is a specific word for the sound of the wind in the trees. I couldn't remember what it was, so I Googled it and ended up doing this page for my journal :-) The word is Psithurism -- pronounced zith-err-ism. It's one of my favorite sounds :-)

Background from Lynne Anzelc's Follow Your Art. Bird, tree branches and trees/mountain blend are from her Countryside kit. Word art by me, but the journal strips are from a set by Vicki Robinson that I had in my stash.
