When my husband & I adopted Leia in Nov 2009 she was 3 years old. The lady was going to take her to the Golden Rescue in Phoenix. AZ the following day but my husband happened to be looking on craigslist & saw a lady trying to find a home for her so it was meant to be! Anyway, Leia didn't know how to wag her tail until 3 years later. "l'll never know if she was abused or just super skittish. :-(
