This is for the Trees of the World challenge. My photo in the middle is actually 3 Palo Verde trees together in a nearby park. They will be blossoming EVERYWHERE in Spring & it becomes like a yellow paradise. Pronounced Pale - O - VER - Dee.
Palo Verde trees are easily distinguished by their brilliant yellow flower display. Their flowers or seeds are edible and can be good on a salad! Known for its fantastic mid-spring flower display, it is native to Southern Arizona.

Oh, this is just gorgeous! I love that you let the photos really shine and tell their own story. I was born in Phoenix and have lots of family in and around there. I'm sure they're having a good laugh as we hunker down waiting for an ice storm and temps in the 20s!
