About this scrapbook page: |
Done for Challenge. The photo, taken in 1916, is of Rays Grandparents. His Mother is the baby. The words are actually the chorus from the Ben E King song & I also loved John Lennon singing this! Thanks for your Comments and Votes

This fantastic song also always reminds me of the short story by Stephen King that was turned into a movie (Stand by Me) with 4 boys being the best of friends. I did not hear about it until my husband introduced me to the movie as he grew up in that era. American coming-of-age film directed by Rob Reiner. The film is based on King's novella & the song is running during the ending credits.

This song is a favorite of mine as well! That is a fantastic photo of Ray's Grandparents & beautifully framed! The background says it all when soldiers make a stand together & friends through thick & thin in the military. I love the clock & the cluster & it is a fabulous layout for this challenge Beryl!!! Ben E King sang it beautifully & Lennon did too.
