Love Cherry blossoms. Unfortunately that is not what we are seeing here in NZ at the moment. More like leaves falling off the trees LOL.
When you mention Cherry Blossoms I think of Japan and China so that is the theme for my page.
I have used the lantern as a frame. Hope that is ok Simone.

We don't have them here either because we have desert plants and trees blooming which are pretty in their own way. This is a very lovely Oriental layout including Cherry Blossoms making for a lovely scene and that is awesome what you did to turn it into a painting for the challenge Mary!!!
