Ok, I just had to look up the difference between the different spellings of a fairy or faerie! I found this: [Middle English faierie, fairie; see fairy.] The current usage difference is that fairy is the mythical creature, and faerie is the world of fairies. However, Brian Froud, who is considered to be the main authority of fairies, nearly always uses the archaic form faery or faeries.

This page has a richness in nature and fantasy with glorious Autumn images and colors for this challenge Simone!!! Great use of masking! I love your Woodland Fairy!!! Since I have to use voice recognition software my software automatically picks up the spelling of 'Fairy' as we see/learned its spelling while, so many of the times they see the spelling as Faerie. In any case, excellent word art!
