This trip to Peru, Machu Picchu was one from my "Bucket Trip" list of trips. I Loved all the Fabulous, Gorgeous Mountains around us. We stayed in Cusco. The main picture is of the Cusco Cathedral Square, which I took from the balcony of a Hotel on its border, The other is me halfway up Machu Picchu, Altitude sickness hit me, so I was glad to get this picture, while the others went on.

fabulous photos Simone - my daughters did the Trek Peru for charity - they had an amazing time and made it to the top of Machu Picchu after a 3 day trek up the mountain. They made just over 11 thousand pounds for Breast Cancer Care as a thank you to them for all the help they gave my youngest daughter after getting breast cancer. (PS she is now 7 years in remission ) xxxx

The mountains remind me of the ones that now surround me. Fantastic shot of the city scene ( Cusco Cathedral Square) with the mountains in the background and lovely photo of you doing your best to get some hiking up to the mountain but at least you made it halfway! Congratulations and FABULOUS page for the challenge Simone!!!
