Done for Fun and for the Pet challenge,
Teddy is my good friend's dog, unfortunately he
was abused, so he is not very trusting of any one, we have been trying with him almost a year now, and his owner gives him lots of love, but even though I feed and walk him when she is at work, he lets me stroke him, but thats it I cannot pick him up, he wriggles and leaps down.
Teddy is really her King.

We had a dog named Rocky when I was a teenager and I rescued him from someone that didn't treat him well. Took a long time to gain his trust but he became a very loyal protective family dog. And he was a small wire haired terrier. I loved him so and he lived 15 yrs with us. So just be patient and he'll come around. Such a sweet puppy. He's gorgeous. Thanks for adding it to my challenge.

A super pge for the challenge. It is so sad that some people derive pleasure from abusing animals. Teddy is a lucky boy that he has been adopted by a loving mommy and even gets spoiled by her friend. I hope that with time he will become more trusting.xxx

I had to say what I said earlier simply because I understand what Teddy is going through and he might never get over it. Leia now knows to stay by me & when we are walking she is afraid of so many things. I have had her since November 2009 & she is my queen. I LOVE YOUR EXTRACTION OF TEDDY & HIS KING-SIZE CHAIR that he deserves SUPER SUPER ICON PAGE SIMONE!!!!! I am still in bed but hope to join!

Teddy surely needs all the love that your good friend can give him over the years. When my husband & I adopted Leia we had no idea that she would jump at every sound and always be on "alert" as to what might harm her next. She trusted him & followed him around the 2 1/2 years before my husband's passing. Now she knows she's mine but flinches at every small attempt for others to pet her.
