All of you who are my long-time friends know about Ellie's Hank. Ellie goes nowhere without him; he has been her constant companion since she was just a few weeks old. Found him in a bargain bin at Tuesday Morning, never knowing he would be like Pooh is to Christopher Robin. Poor Hank is beginning to fall apart, and Ellie's Daddy had to perform surgery. Note how Ellie is holding Hank's foot. I'll do another page with a closer view. Poor Ellie ... Hank will be okay, honey.

Photo was edited in Akvis with the pencil sketch effect. I've entered it in the Photo to Sketch challenge, although I'm not completely sure it is as sketchy looking as that challenge requires. Black background paper is by Emily Giavonni. For anyone who doesn't know, Hank is a stuffed puppy.

this photo is priceless, I'm so glad that Beth got a new camera and is actually using it to get pics like this. I love the sketchy black and white look of this page, it suits it perfectly. She does melt your heart doesn't she? And having been on the shopping trip to Tuesday Mornings where Hank was picked out just adds to the emotional impact for me.
