About this scrapbook page: |
Roebourne, no joke, no fuel, so went round town taking snaps, lovely old buildings, great lookout and the Harding river. This is the old goal.

Well Don, sounds like a thoroughly disorganised trip in the midlle of nowhere! No planning for fuel, no spare tyre(?), forgot to look at the map to see if the railway still existed, and to cap it all just what sort of bars does a burly Australian copper drink in these days? You tell me you go for a pint of the 'black stuff' of a Friday, but you are obviously throwing back 'pink fluffy bunnys.'

Now son, what you didn't mention is that you were laughing at the ladies' dresses cos they weren't nearly as pretty as your little blue number...no wonder they got annoyed. You didn't mind being locked up though, did you? It gave you chance to catch up on your cross stitch!
