These are the spectacular falls near Taupo, NZ. Spectacular because of the force of the water that continually rushes thru the narrow river to the eventual Falls. A big tourist attraction .

They certainly are spectacular falls Joce but also very dangerous. Lee our son in law has kayaked over these falls and survived LOL. There is only 1 way down them or else you get held under at the bottom so only experienced people go down them. This is a fabulous page. Love seeing images of our beautiful country and I enjoyed reading the information. Thank you so much for creating beautiful page.
