About this scrapbook page: |
A little bit of History and some information. Because of our need to celebrate this momentous occasion in our lives we are going to Tauranga for the weekend and meeting up with other Guerns (as we call ourselves) I will be missing from here from Wednesday until Tuesday of next week. I will take my laptop so there is a chance that I might catch up with some of your pages but sorry if I don't. Thanks for visiting enjoy your history lesson.

Why the Donkey? Guernsey people are referred to as Guernsey donkeys but that's another story!!! All from the net except that photo of me that's from my inherited photos. PSE11

So good to hear that you still manage to celebrate this momentous occasion with Guernsey friends Joce. Excellent commemorative page and journalling, particularly interesting for non Brits. Wonderful photo of you as a toddler and perfect illustration. Hope you had a great visit with your friends!

Well well... I absolutely love history and getting first-hand knowledge and first-hand experience of it is when I enjoyed the most! Your journaling is impeccable as well as the photo of little you and such an apropos layout! Wonderfully created history page but with more because of your first-hand knowledge. Otherwise history gets distorted. Fabulous page for that reason and more!
