On several of the burnt out, crumbling houses are paintings - art - not graffiti, but actual scenes that were put there with skill and thought - and with defiance and hope. If you live near a declining urban area, help people who are trying to reclaim their neighborhoods. And if you can’t, spread awareness of the situation to those who can.

To say that urban decay has taken over is an understatement. You can see the roof, peaking up over the trees - if you look closely there’s actually a natural archway at the front of the (or what’s left) of the house. The bottom pic is a side view- showing the caved-in roof and abundance of bushes & trees.
