About this scrapbook page: |
Strange how an old song can have me reaching for a hankie! The fifties and sixties are still may favourites, although I still have my record collection, some of which go back to the thirties, and were played on a 'wind up gramaphone'! (Inherited, of course)Jack is doing some fancy footwork!

Music is the one thing that can make me happy when I'm sad. It can also do so many of the things that you shared with us. Love that pianos!!! The only other time I have heard something familiar to those words is from Elton John's ~Sad Songs Say so Much~ lyrics. Great page!

You know Sylvia, this is EXACTLY the reason why I choose to sing mainly the beautiful old songs from the 30's 40's and 50's. My audiences are mainly from the age groups that were young in those days and I hope to bring back many lovely memories to them. And I must say, I do occasionally see tears too.... Nice page dear, Love, NADIA xxx
