ANZAC Day (Australia & New Zealand Army Corps) is held on 25th April to honour those who have served or are still serving in the defences forces It began during WW1 in honour of those who fought and died in Gallipoli. Services are held in all major cities and towns and in most rural towns even if there are only a few dozen people there. The Ode of Remembrance is a verse from Laurence Binyons poem For The Fallen.

The definition of good art is that which evokes an emotional response in the beholder. I could not help but weep for the families whose loved ones never came home. Most families have at least one, even if the do not know it. My time in the service made me so aware of the sacrifice. Thank you for the eloquent reminder and memorial.
