About this scrapbook page: |
After World War II, a colony of Finnish wooden houses was erected behind the Jazdówski Park in Warsaw to house the engineers, architects, builders and artisans who came to rebuild the ruined city. Only twenty-seven houses still survive. Most are now used for various cultural activities, but eight are still inhabited. This is where Wojciech grew up. (I hid a key on this page.)
