This is for the My Favorite Recipe 2014 challenge! I truly appreciate all your views, commentaries and votes! Thumbprint cookies are one of those classic cookies that seem to make an appearance at any event regardless what the occasion is. I think it’s because they combine so many things people love: buttery cookies, nuts, and jam. My grandmother rolled them in nuts & that is popular as well which can be seen in the cookies with peach jam in the lower left-hand corner.

another yummy treat!! I love this type of cookie but have never tried to fix it, maybe I thought it was too difficult??? anyway, this looks easy enough that I will just have to give it a whirl!! beautiful Christmasy layout for your recipe!! thanks so much for creating this for my challenge!!
