For the FRAME A FLOWER challenge! Thank you so much for all your support, viewing, commentaries and votes!!! These up close and personal photos of of the flowers are from the large “Mexican Bird of Paradise” that my beloved, late husband and I had in our yard in Southern Arizona before his passing. The flowers are borne in racemes up to 20 cm long, each flower with five yellow, orange or red petals. The fruit is a pod 6–12 cm long.
