Becky and I were able to adopt our daughter Nina in 1999, just before her 9th birthday. We (along with our son Nathan) flew from Chicago to Moscow, and then to Krasnodar, Russia. From there we travelled by car to Eisk on the Sea of Azov, where Nina was attending school. It was an experience, and that was just the beginning. She spoke no English when we brought her home!
