Suicide is now the third leading cause of death among young people.If you know someone who suffers from depression STOP believeing it will pass or it is just a phase....IT IS REAL and it kills and they get depressed at younger ages...I still feel so guilty for this. I saw her everday too.

I enlarged your page so that I could read your journaling. Oh my. I'm sooo sorry about your friend's daughter. Taking one's life at any age is so heartbreaking. But at 12? Oh my. Thank you for creating this page to help remind us of the very real horror of depression and of where it can lead. Powerful message.
