Emotion on Paper: Melancholy
"Melancholy" is described as sadness or depression of spirit ... gloom ... dejection ... despondency ... sorrow ... being downcast. I would like to see your pages that reflect these things. I want to be able to look at your page and be struck full force with emotion. Make your work SPEAK. If you have struggled with melancholy in your own life, you will probably find this challenge easy to relate to. I am posting a page I made a few weeks ago, to give you an example of what I am looking for. When choosing the COC, my choice will be greatly influenced by the description you give to your page and by the power of emotion you make me feel. If you feel free enough to share your own experience with the emotion, it would make your page more meaningful. It's not always easy to let yourself be vulnerable. But I am asking you to do just that. Please feel free to send me a personal message if you have any questions. Thanks in advance to all who participate.
Challenge Requirements:
You must fill in something under the "description" portion of your page. I often see pages where nothing is said under the description or credits. To me, the description is one of the most important parts of your work. Why did you make this page? What emotion inspired you? Your description must say more than "made for challenge". There must be some sort of personal aspect to it. Please also post designer credits. You may use old or new pages. But if you use an old page and did not give a description or post credits, you must add those things before putting your page in this challenge. If these things are missing, I will send you a personal message and ask that you add them. Thanks for your understanding.
