About this scrapbook page: |
This is Te Rewa Rewa Bridge in New Plymouth, New Zealand. It is called the Whalebone Bridge but it isn't made from whalebone - it was built to resemble the rib cage of a whale. Mount Taranaki appears centrally when the photo is taken from the right spot. It is for pedestrians and cyclists but ambulances can use it in an emergency. Thank you for c/v much appreciated.

I have seen many different bridges, swinging bridges, colorful bridges (Golden Gate), one-lane bridges, but never a bridge that looks like it was built out of animal parts!!! Your scrap for it is awesome and educational. I like to see beauty, but also information scrap, too.
