Made for fun. The picture is by Doreen Baxter, a South African illustrator of children's books which are all sadly out of print now and almost impossible to come by. I'm a great lover of her work, I think she ranks with the very best.

Late 2011 and early 2012 must have had a huge amount of active members because as I write my commentary here on April 4, 2016 I see that you had 45 comments but so many of those members are not active here now. :-( I have had to take many sabbaticals but am glad to be back and be able to catch up on layouts that were made a long time ago... like yours!
