Back in the Day Hometown Photos
I have so many memories of the small town I grew up in & the ones nearby. There are many groups on Facebook whereby people upload "Memories of ___" with so many old advertisements, photos of buildings, stores and much more from their hometowns. Or you may have some of those "Back in the Day" photos yourself. I would love to see them!
Please upload pages exhibiting YOUR old photos or from the net. I have hundreds of them. My icon page here is pretty simplistic but I hope to create another one. In the meantime, put your thinking caps on & go looking for those old photos! Even if you can only find one.
My family, like so many others in my hometown growing up, were entrepreneurs. If you zoom in to the ads in the upper right corner of my page you will see Rossen's Liquor Store. That was our ad. We had other stores too.
Challenge Requirements:
* New pages only.
* Must have the name of your hometown!
* Must have Photos of old buildings or stores or advertisements. Even if it was just a gasoline station!
* Try to make your photos 90% buildings, areas, bridges, trains, etc. because I am going to run a challenge to have you include old photos of certain people.
* Only one winner for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and COC awards.
* Add any text or embellishments for your pages!
