You may think it odd , but the reason I did this scrap and headed and the journaling because they all look so miserable .I know it was how it was in those times but this lot just look extra miserable .maybe it was the last day of term.... or the beginning !

I have noticed this 1000 times over of older photos like this whether it be ancestor photos or classroom photos or what not. Yup they are also stoic or miserable or, like you said, "what were they thinking?" Great page to represent that!
