Believe it or not the most commonly used collective noun for a gathering of owls is -
'a parliament of owls'
Other collective nouns sometimes used are -
wisdom of owls
congress of owl,
hooting of owls,
and stare of owls.
Others sometimes used are -
bazzare, diss, eyrie, looking or nest.
Which do you prefer?
