Of all the Iris bulbs I planted in the fall, so far only one has bloomed. I'm glad its the purple one as this is my favorite.

It's a beauty. Love the deep rich colour. Hopefully the others will flower too. There is something very satisfying about gardening. It feeds our nurturing instincts especially after our children have all grown up. This is a gorgeous page for a gorgeous flower. The soft blending of the star of your page and the faded edges of the frame are perfect touches to draw the eye to the Iris.
