These sweet, sociable, loving little birds are wonderful friends. We raised budgies for a number of years. One of the best parts of the day was to sit in the breakfast nook where I could watch them tend their chicks. The males are attentive and helpful. The females, though, give a whole new meaning to henpecked. They absolutely rule the roost!
