About this scrapbook page: |
Icon for my Natural World challenge #7 Flowers. A re-do of a page I did in 2014. These beautiful flowers grow in my garden every year and are my favourites. They are Guernsey Lilies named after my home Island of Guernsey. The original bulbs came from South Africa and were washed ashore on the Island from a shipwreck. Islanders cultivated them and re-named them and they became the Guernsey Lilies. Thank you for joining my challenge.

I enlarged your page to get a good look at these beautiful Lilies specially named after your home island! I so very much love to learn new things & that is so interesting how they came to be. Your garden is absolutely gorgeous & it is great to learn that the old Roman me for your island is Sarnia and cool that you have a as the number plate on your car! Lovely colors!
