Even when my own wings have been clipped by health, it's still my privelege & responsibility to protect my daughter and light her way. I'm so thankful for the family & friends that have carried that umbrella of protection through it all. Her life is so much richer for all the quality relationships in our lives. Even when I miss her so much that the tears well, I have a smile too because of the silver lining of those that rally around her, around me.
