Scrapped for Art Style Oil Painting challenge by MaryWonder. This is a photo of The Homeplace in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. It’s only minutes from our home and Gabriel and I enjoy visiting often. It’s an 1850’s working farm. My favorite time to visit is during the Christmas holidays. I love the holiday decorations that they teach you how to make.

What a beautiful old homestead & you are so lucky to have that close by. A stunning painting Linda & the texture is wonderful when enlarged. Love the cart & horse & all the other touches that enhance the painting & Gabriel fits there perfectly with his long coat & gun over his shoulder.
