About this scrapbook page: |
For the 'What Anniversary' challenge. 'Gotcha Day' is celebrated by many adoptive families. Not the day the adoption is final, it's the day the kid(s) first came to live with you. We go camping every year, and 2 days before my sister 'got' her kids we were sitting around a campfire talking about them. How appropriate that their first Gotcha Day was celebrated at the same campground?

What an absolutely wonderful idea for a celebration. I am adopted & in my day I wasn't told until I was about 16 which was quite traumatic so I think 'Gotcha Day' is tremendous. You all went to a lot of trouble to make this celebration very special for them. Love your page Caileigh. The thin black frames around the photos make them stand out & your journaling is wonderful.
