For the "My BFF" challenge. Betty came into my dad's life when I was 14. After my dad died is when we really became close. For 20 years we visited her every year in Wyoming, when the kids were little and after they had grown. Our last visit was our most special one. I miss her so much.

WONDERFUL photo and story of your stepmother and great journaling about her in your gorgeous layout! I became a stepmother in 1997 but they already had a mother and they were young men that just started out on their own so they see me as nothing other than their father's new wife. After my beloved husband (and their father) passed away in 2012 they stopped communicating with me altogether. Sad.
