My 3rd Gt Grandfather James Carlton Hill. 1798-1858. The oringinal picture was on a glass plate and in Black & White. Picture has been coloured using Coral Draw.
James arrived in New Zealand in 1842 in his will he left land to the people of Auckland to which the suburb of Hillsborough is named after the Family.
