I saw this image and, as they say, it reached in and touched my heart and, of course, it is relevant with 2014 seeing the centenary of the 1st World War.The tag on the page provides the information about the painting,I've just extracted it & added a few touches of my own.So few people seem to be commenting these days, I hope those who see this are similarly touched.Thanks for looking & for your lovely comments, always greatly appreciated x

Thank you for this Pauline. Today is ANZAC Day here and I'm watching a special service celebrating the lives of New Zealanders and Australians who gave their lives at Gallipoli in Turkey in the Great War. Your page brought a few tears.
