I prepared this page for the "It Changed So Many Lives" challenge ... but also for my family. I was a preteen during the Vietnam War and my father and brother both served (my father served two tours). As my journaling states, our soldiers came home safely but not without scars, many inflicted AFTER they returned home - by their countrymen who scorned them. Let us hope that this country never forgets the lessons learned after Vietnam and scorn the policies if you must, BUT NOT THE SOLDIER!
