I saw a show once where engineers from MIT tried to replicate the pyramids on a smaller scale, and they couldn't keep the sides straight. I find it so fascinating what the ancient Egyptians were able to accomplish with the tools they had.

superbly scrapped page - there are many ancient buildings, stone circles etc that many have tried to reconstruct but failed. One of the reasons the Pyramids will always remain a mystery xx
