Probably this is all over the world, but in the U.S. the bride traditionally wears "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"...for Lyndsey's something old, her mother pinned on a broach that had belonged to her maternal grandmother. The second photo is Lyndsey's mom holding the broach in her hands.
