I was born in Hominy in 1959, went all through school there and graduated in 1977. Two great-grandparents lived across the street from us, and a third great-grandmother lived just a few blocks away. My paternal grandparents lived just 2 blocks away. It was great having these elders so nearby! We moved away in 1984. My oldest son remembers 1 great-great-grandmother. It was GREAT to have 5 generations in the church pews on Sundays.
