My family comes from Friesland, 1 of the northern provinces, worldwide known for the cattle, the beautiful Frisian black horses and the yearly sail event "skutsjesilen". Photo`s are my greatgrandmother, my grandmother and my mother. My greatgrandmother has worn the traditonal dresses all her life. The title is in the Fries language and means no better place than Friesland
