About this scrapbook page: |
Crowfoot Mountain, with Bow Lake at it's base. This is where the Bow River flows from, which eventually ends up going through Calgary, Alberta and joins the river that moves through my city further south. There is also Crowfoot Glacier around the back, which has been receding since the early 1900s but has slowed it's melt over the past several years.

One Nature by Carola photo by me [Maybe the glaciers are forming again because we noticed that at the Columbia Icefields as well - the melting has slowed considerably over the past 20 years, compared to 100 years ago]

I’ve a little more time to me.I read again The Great Gatsby by S. Fitzgerald and In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.I feel the same pleasure when I visit your gallery. Why?I encounter the same humanity, the desire not to offend your fans and, sometimes, even, nostalgia.I found,in the children, the same childhood that you had.Or you would have wanted. You speak with the color and “my” authors use the words.
