About this scrapbook page: |
As a child t was my chore to take the bits of raw chicken from the roast to Piet. On entering his aviary I would scrunch up my eyes so only little slits could be seen by Piet. I always remembered the rhyme and down came a blackbird and pecked out her eyes)LOL. Piet was smart! He laughed like mom, whistled march tunes like dad, shouted "Jump Joe, jump!" to my brother. Amazing birds! Thanks dad for instilling a love of birds in me. Entered in Talking Birds challenge - Tks for C/V - always appreciated
