I'm actually more in danger in manic state when I can't sleep, when I just had to do something, anything, everything, even stupid things, overworking my brain and heart and driving myself to pure exhaustion. Miki taught me to be still by imagining myself safe in his arms as we float in water. Most of the time, that does work even now. Just one of the things that Miki left me with.
