About this scrapbook page:
Okay ... I know my pages have been gloomy the past couple of days. I promise to post some sweet ones again after this one. This was another piece of cemetery art I stumbled upon. And it moved me almost to tears. I don't know where this is located, but I sure would love to see it in person.
Design credits:
Photo is one I found when searching for cemetery art. There were no photographer credits. I edited it in PSE6. Quote is by Denton Welch. The font I used is called Hello Sark, and I added the layering by expanding the selection.

This is amazing! I love the angle from which the photo was shot. So captivating. Makes the eye travel, and then it freezes....the bitter reality sets in. Death is a mystery. Some fear it. Some embrace it. It's always harder for the ones left behind.

Your "gloomy" (as you call it) pages only show the insight and depth of your heart and reflects your talent and versitility of your scrapbooking. The photo and quotation are perfect together- I got a chill looking at your page it is THAT good!!!!!

I think this is probably the most awesome cemetery art I have seen. It reminds me of the scene in Lord of the Rings-The Return of the King and it does make me sad.

I've seen some incredible cemetery art in my travels but nothing like this. It is very moving and with that quote it's very powerful. Some folks who have found love easily won't be able to understand it but anyone with a history of requited love will identify immediately.
