This is a page I cut out of a 1930's Good Housekeeping magazine. I just love pictures from that era. The quote is one I read in a little Hallmark book about mothers. I was struck by the truth that we often love someone even more than we ourselves know. I always knew I loved my mother. But now that she is gone, I feel as if I could tell her .. "Mom, I love you more than I know." Not "more than YOU know" ... but "more than I know".
