This is my husband, helping his mother bake Christmas cookies in 1955. They were the kind you had to roll out ... so much work. Look at him. He's even wearing an apron. How funny!

Photos are scans of scans. Pictures belonged to my mother-in-law and are now in the possession of my sister-in-law.
