About this scrapbook page: |
For Breast Cancer Awareness ... and for my sister Nancy, who has just been diagnosed with it. For about a year, I've been following the blog of a lady who has breast cancer. The name of her blog is "Can I Be Pretty In Pink?" I think that title conveys so much. I wanted to do a page to try to express those emotions.

Picture blended onto background paper from the charity kit called "Artemia" at After Five Designs. I used three different alphas, all of which were freebies from the Digifree site. Two different overlays by Studio Berna.

It is a beautiful page - a kind of tension and mournfullness in the childs eyes. Bespeaks of loss and the unknown. I hope your sister goes well with the treatment. This would be a brilliant campaign ad - people would look at it and think, because the way you have done it, compells us to wonder.
