top pic shows what the pasture fields should look like. bottom pics are grass trees, also known to many as blackboys, that are an ancient plant in australia. it is actually grass but the blades die and fall off and new grass grows from the top giving the appearance of a trunk. very slow growing, these were up to 3metres high and around a hundred years old.
