November 1, 1982 marked a big shift in my mom's life when she became a grandmother for the first time with the birth of my sweet niece Rachael. The relationship between Mom and Rachael's parents became estranged after awhile but Rachael and her Nana were close always.

Everything is from DSP. The background papers are from Marcee Dugger's Lady Jane package included in Feb/07 club digital, the picture corners are from Elizabeth Weaver's A Jewel A Day Hearts Warm Tones, the cream satin ribbons are borrowed from Lauren Bavin's Antique Rose pagekit. The Hessian Flower came from the freebie gallery and the font for Grandmothers is DSP's Meryl which is part of the July club digital pack. Journaling font as always is CK Journal.
