My husband found a small growth near one of her teats when rubbing her belly one day and we took her to our wonderful angelic veterinarian. Grade 3 of that particular type of cancer is the worst and we did not expect to have her more than a few more months but she was asymptomatic for nearly a year before she could no longer hold food down. We knew it was the humane thing to do to relieve her from her pain and move on to a better place. My husband was sobbing as we were leaving the veterinarian office that day after spending a couple hours with her in a room of comfort.
ANYWAY ... if you wanted to create a page AGAINST BREAST CANCER or any type of cancer... that is one idea I just thought of!

Update: I meant to say a "Dog Cancer Awareness" pages. Again, it started on one of her teats (and then spread rapidly) so it could be considered breast cancer but I still think "Dog Cancer Awareness" sounds better. Unfortunately, Golden Retrievers are the number one breed to develop cancer. :-(
